At Sophia's Lavender & Herb Farm we will discover all there is to know about Lavender, from growing to distilling. A captivating exploration into lavender, what it takes to grow Lavender and the process of distillation will be explored with Lavender aficionado, Karrie Westwood. Immerse yourself in the world of Lavender on the beautiful Sophie's Six Mile Lavender Farm.
Lavender Distillation
We will be using our own lavender to explore the process of distillation. We will discuss the best methods to grow lavender. This weekend will open new worlds of scents and sensation!
Our schedule of Possibilities
Arrive each day at 8 am to tea and scones to begin to explore the world of Lavender. Enjoy a morning of distillation and discovery.
Lunch will be served from a local farm to table catering service (Wise Owl Farms)
In the afternoon we will explore and discover more exciting things about lavender.
At the end of the workshop you will have an understanding of what it takes to grow and distill lavender.
WHAT TO EXPECT!
This will be an in-depth Lavender Retreat from Thursday July 23-Sunday July 26. We will cover many aspects of Lavender growth, distillation, flower essence, perfumery, muscle testing & pendulum use to communicate with plants, how to harvest lavender, labyrinth planning and building, herb spiral, and so much more in this retreat. It will blow your lavender socks off!
$350 for the retreat includes light breakfast and lunch. Dinners are on your own except for the first night. $200 will hold your place in the retreat.
July 23 Thursday, 4-8pm, will be an evening of delightful food and circling up with other lavender friends, herbs, plants and trees. We will end the evening with Singing Bowls, Gongs, Drums, Crystal Bowls to release stress and settle into our lavender community.
Limited accommodations available on our farm, including camping and some beds for additional price.
